City College of science and technology of Chongqing University is a comprehensive full-time college with undergraduate education as the main body approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. According to the relevant documents of the Ministry of education, Chongqing University, a key university directly under the Ministry of education and a key construction University of "211 Project" and "985 Project", is an independent college. The school currently has Yongchuan and Banan (under construction) two campuses, covering an area of 1977 mu. Yongchuan campus is located at the foot of the famous scenic spot of Chashan bamboo sea in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, and Banan campus is located in the education city of Banan District, Chongqing.
