Heilongjiang Education College

Higher vocational and Technical College of Heilongjiang education college is a full-time vocational college, which belongs to Heilongjiang education college. Founded in 1959, Heilongjiang Institute of education is a teacher training base for basic education, vocational education, adult education, audio-visual education and other kinds of Education under the leadership of the provincial government and directly under the Provincial Department of education. The college has Chinese, mathematics, physics, English, biochemistry, education and other teaching departments, computer education center, primary and secondary education and training center, audio-visual education and other teaching and research auxiliary departments. Since its establishment for more than 40 years, the Institute has accumulated rich experience in school running and teaching, with superior school running conditions and strong teaching staff. It has trained more than 40000 college and junior college graduates for education and all walks of life in the whole province. The college is located in Harbin, a famous city in the north, with Nangang and Xiangfang campuses. The main campus is located at 133 Hexing Road, Nangang District. The college covers an area of 105 mu, building area of more than 80000 square meters, library collection of more than 300000 books, more than 700 kinds of newspapers and periodicals; there are 24 professors, 216 associate professors, 119 lecturers; among them, there are special allowance recipients from the State Council and provincial government, outstanding contribution of middle school students, strong teaching force and complete teaching equipment. Approved by the Provincial Department of education, the college set up a branch of Higher Vocational and technical education in 2000. It has enrolled full-time students of Higher Vocational and technical education in 16 provinces and cities in China. Now it has set up computer application technology, preschool education, English education, art design, audio-visual technology, community management and service, environmental monitoring and governance technology, business English and other majors.
