Fujian Institute of Physical Education

Fujian sports vocational and technical college was formally established in 2005 with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's government, which is subordinate to Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau. Fujian Province is an ordinary higher vocational college at the junior college level, which mainly carries out full-time junior college education and various forms of non academic education. Approved by Fujian Provincial Department of education in 2003, the college began to recruit five-year junior college students majoring in sports training, and formally recruited full-time two-year junior college students majoring in ordinary higher vocational education in 2006. It is the only higher vocational sports college in Fujian Province that integrates the cultivation of high-level competitive sports talents and social sports management service talents.

Fujian sports vocational and technical college is established on the basis of the integration of sports education resources such as the provincial sports team, the second provincial sports team, the provincial Shooting Center, the provincial swimming center, the provincial sports school and the Provincial Sports Science Research Institute. Located at No. 151, fufei Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, it covers an area of 395 mu, with a building area of 139600 square meters. The state has invested 500 million yuan in the basic construction of the college. The new stadium with an area of 34500 square meters built in the first phase of the college was put into use in 2006. The college has 20 sports venues, including standard track and field field, badminton hall, table tennis hall, tennis court (Hall), basketball hall, Volleyball Hall, beach volleyball court, gymnasium, trampoline hall, fencing hall, boxing hall, martial arts hall, archery court, shooting range (Hall), etc., as well as multi-media classroom, computer classroom, voice classroom, physiological anatomy laboratory, reading room, library and library Sports Research Center, medical rehabilitation center, complete internal facilities, can meet the needs of teaching and training.

There are 123 full-time (Part-time) teachers, including 65 teachers with deputy senior titles and above; 169 full-time coaches, including 42 senior coaches.

The school running goal of the college is to cultivate excellent sports talents with good professional ethics, innovative spirit, love and dedication, master the basic theoretical knowledge and technical skills of sports major, have high-level competitive sports skills, and meet the social needs of sports training and counseling, service and management of senior application-oriented talents.
