Suzhou Jianxiong Vocational and Technical College

Suzhou Jianxiong Vocational and technical college is a public full-time ordinary university established with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in July 2004. It is named after Wu Jianxiong, the "Chinese Curie lady" born in Taicang. It is located in Taicang science and education new city of Suzhou, adjacent to the international metropolis Shanghai.

At present, the college covers an area of 700 mu, with a construction area of nearly 200000 square meters, 385 teaching staff, and a number of high-level talents such as "333", "Blue Project" and "Soochow scholars". There are more than 5000 full-time students in the school, and 6000 social trainings are carried out every year. International education cooperation with Germany, the United States, Canada and other countries is deepening. In 2014, they won the second prize of national teaching achievements in Vocational education, and established the only dual system vocational education demonstration and promotion base in China and Germany.
