Shaoyang vocational and technical college is approved by Hunan Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education. The college is located in meizijing, south of Shaoyang City, with convenient transportation and pleasant environment. The campus covers an area of 680 mu, with a construction area of 210000 square meters. There are more than 5000 full-time students. The college has five teaching departments, including the Department of mechanical and electrical engineering, the Department of Finance and trade, the Department of business administration, the Department of information and media arts, and the Department of bioengineering, as well as the Ministry of continuing education and the Department of technical secondary school.
