Hunan Safety Technology Vocational College

Hunan Vocational College of safety technology, located at No.304, Wanjiali North Road, Changsha City, is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college jointly constructed by the State Administration of work safety and Hunan Provincial People's government. The Institute, formerly known as Changsha coal mine safety technology training center, was founded in 1984. The center was jointly established by the Chinese government and the international labor organization of the United Nations. It is one of the two training bases directly under the State Administration of work safety. It is a national first-class safety production training institution and a national first-class coal mine safety training institution. Over the past 30 years, more than 80000 safety technical management personnel at home and abroad have been trained.

The teaching team of the college is excellent, with 387 staff, including 283 teachers, 218 graduate students (including 20 doctors), 85 teachers with deputy senior titles or above (including 18 professors), and 174 teachers with "double quality".

The college has advanced teaching facilities and 59 professional experimental training rooms, including geological survey, electronic technology, organic-inorganic analysis, fireworks display, computer, multi-functional economic and trade simulation, etc.; multimedia classrooms, digital library and modern voice room have been built in an all-round way; living conditions have been continuously improved, student apartments with air conditioning have been built, and the campus network has realized the seamless coverage of WiFi in the whole college.

The employment rate of college graduates is more than 90%, and has been rated as the advanced unit of employment work in Hunan Province for many years. The college has carried out "order form" training in an all-round way, cooperated with more than 100 well-known enterprises, such as the 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group, Panda Fireworks, China Gold Group, Sinopec, PetroChina, Shanghai Rail Transit group, Shenzhen Huawei, China nuclear industry group, Hunan Haili group, Tongcheng group, Huaxing Construction supervision, to cultivate talents, and established 79 stable off campus training bases for learning Students' practice and employment create good external conditions.
