Fushun Vocational and Technical College

Fushun Vocational and Technical College (formerly known as Fushun University) was founded in 1983, and took the lead in carrying out higher vocational and technical education in the province in 1995. In 1997, it was identified as one of the 17 demonstrative vocational and technical universities in China by the State Education Commission. In 2004, it was identified as the training base for CNC skilled talents by the Ministry of education, the Commission of science, technology and industry for national defense, and the National Federation of machinery industry With the approval of the education department, Fushun Vocational and technical college, relying on Liaoning University of petroleum and chemical technology, has independently recruited higher vocational college graduates to carry out undergraduate higher vocational education since 2005.

The college covers an area of 235 mu, with a construction area of 58164 square meters and fixed assets of 120 million yuan.

The college has campus network, digital books, nearly 230000 books, 80 modern laboratories, training rooms and practice bases on campus, 40 off campus practice and training bases, which can carry out vocational skill appraisal of 26 types of work.

The college has seven teaching departments, including chemical engineering department, mechanical and Electronic Engineering Department, architectural engineering department, information engineering department, business administration department, foreign language department and practical art department, as well as social science teaching department, basic teaching department and physical education teaching department. The college has 457 staff members, a full-time teacher team with doctoral and master's degree as the backbone and a "double teacher" quality teacher team, including 111 people with deputy senior titles or above, 6000 students of various types, and 34 enrollment majors.

The college implements the talent training mode of school enterprise cooperation and order training, explores new teaching forms such as alternation of work and study, front factory and back shop, competition instead of training, realizes multi-media teaching, physical teaching, simulation model demonstration, practical training drill and other functions, becomes a new classroom integrating teaching, learning and doing, and realizes the comprehensiveness of students' ability training and the foresight of technical mastery.

The college has more than 30 associations, such as science and Technology Association, Aurora Borealis studio (Computer Technology Group), college students chorus, college ball Association, college Chess Association, etc. The College encourages and supports students to participate in various vocational skills competitions. Our students have achieved good results in the national numerical control technology competition, won the first place in the provincial contest for two consecutive years in the "Higher Education Cup" mathematical modeling competition, and won gold and silver in the China beauty and hairdressing skills competition and the 31st Asian makeup and hairstyle competition.

In recent years, the college adheres to the principle of paying equal attention to scientific research and teaching, and has nearly 100 scientific research projects in the country, provinces and cities.

Liaoning Vocational College Journal is a comprehensive academic journal of Higher Vocational and technical education, which has become the core journal of vocational education.

The college adheres to the school running concept of "open school running and prospering school with characteristics", and adopts the "1.5 + 1.5" cooperative school running mode with POSCO 1 University, Weide University, Jingji University of technology and Jeju sightseeing University. We have established cooperative relations with University of kirkla in Finland and EHB University in Belgium.

The college has established cooperative relations with more than 30 undergraduate colleges, such as Northeast University, Northeast University of Finance and economics, Liaoning University, Dalian Institute of light industry, Liaoning University of engineering and technology, so that a considerable number of students can continue their studies, and students can also upgrade from college to university.

In the work of graduates' employment, the college adheres to the working principle of "two wheel drive" which is based on the city and actively explores the foreign employment market. Centering on the construction of "two districts and four parks" in Fushun and the situation of large demand for talents of the world's top 500 enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, it vigorously develops the foreign employment market on the basis of serving the local economic construction. Relying on the offices of Fushun Municipal Government in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, the college expands graduates' overseas employment channels. The college has established an office in Suzhou, established employment intention with dozens of local enterprises, and signed long-term employment contracts with more than 100 domestic well-known enterprises such as Beijing Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, China Shenhua Group, Lenovo Group and Foxconn Group.
