School of municipal engineering and technology of Guangzhou University is an off campus public secondary college under Guangzhou University. Its enrollment name is Guangzhou University, its location is Huadu campus, and its enrollment batch is junior college line A. The college holds full-time higher vocational education at the tertiary level, as well as adult college (undergraduate) and special higher education. It mainly trains urban construction and management professionals. At present, there are 7000 students. The college has a novel architectural style and pleasant environment. Municipal engineering technology, road and bridge engineering technology are the construction industry shortage professionals confirmed by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of construction; art design (landscape architecture design) is the Guangzhou Higher Vocational Education Demonstration specialty, Guangdong Higher Vocational Education Demonstration Construction specialty; engineering cost, art design (interior environment design), water supply and drainage engineering technology, road and bridge engineering technology are the major Guangzhou Higher Vocational College demonstration construction major. Adhering to the humanistic concept of "education without discrimination, education fair", the college recruits deaf students of computer application technology and art design (Computer Art) every year. Now there are 120 deaf college students. The sign language association of the college and the volunteer service for the deaf are well developed.
