Xiangtan vocational and technical college, established in August 2001, is a state-run full-time ordinary university with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's government and the record of the Ministry of education. The college is located in the high tech Industrial Development Zone of Xiangtan City, at the intersection of Hedong Avenue and silk Avenue, adjacent to the newly built Xiangtan Municipal Center and connected to Changtan Expressway in the East, with convenient transportation.
