Heilongjiang Tourism Vocational and technical college, located at 315 Xuefu Road, Nangang District, Harbin City, is the only independent public higher vocational college of economy, trade and tourism in Heilongjiang Province registered by the Ministry of education.

Based on Heilongjiang, joining hands with the Ministry of Commerce, service providers in tourism and radiating to Northeast Asia, the college always adheres to the school running idea of "zero distance between specialty setting and market demand, zero distance between talent training and employment post, zero distance between training standard and enterprise employment standard". With more than 50 years of school running history, it has cultivated hundreds of thousands of professional talents. It is one of the construction units of eight provincial backbone higher vocational colleges. It is also the training base for backbone teachers of secondary vocational education. It also undertakes the functions of the national local public organization of employment labor cooperation between China and South Korea. It is the training base for dispatched labor personnel in Heilongjiang Province.

The college has 150000 square meters of teaching and living facilities such as library, gymnasium and comprehensive training building. The business and tourism training base is a demonstration professional training base built by the Provincial Department of education and the Department of finance. The college offers more than 30 majors in tourism, hotel, cooking, finance and economics, trade, logistics, e-commerce, biopharmaceutical, beauty design, architectural decoration, automobile maintenance, etc. At present, there are 213 professional teachers, 31 professors and 66 associate professors. It has a pragmatic teaching team composed of backbone professors, professional trainers, industry craftsmen and national judges. Adhering to the development direction of collectivization and internationalization, the college innovates the school running system and mechanism, and takes the lead in establishing Heilongjiang business tourism vocational education group. In depth cooperation with 113 enterprises such as intercontinental, Marriott, Starwood international hotel group, China Baroque, Hafei, Zunrong Jaguar, Land Rover, etc. has been carried out to carry out order training and joint education; undergraduate education has been carried out with Daejeon University, Gongzhou National University, and Yousong University of Korea; cultural exchanges have been established with teachers and students in the United States, Russia, and Japan, and cooperation has been established with students studying abroad; Cooperation with Seidel foundation of Germany. More than 1000 teachers and students have been sent to exchange, study abroad and study abroad.

Taking service as the purpose and employment as the guidance, the college has set up special employment agencies, implemented all-round, wide-ranging and multi-channel placement of students' employment, guided students to start their own businesses, and ensured that the employment rate of graduates is always stable at more than 90%.
