Anqing Vocational and technical college is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, which is a national garden city, a national historical and cultural city, a national forest city, and an excellent tourist city in China. It is located in the national Anqing Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to Anqing administrative new area, business new area, cultural and Sports Center, and Qintan Lake Ecological Park, with superior location and beautiful environment. The master plan of the campus is designed by academician he Jingtang, the designer of China Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo. Our college was founded in June 2003 and passed the Ministry of education's talent training assessment in 2009. In 2010, we set up a project to build a model higher vocational college in Anhui Province. In December 2014, we passed the project acceptance and talent training personality assessment in Anhui Province. In November 2015, the project was successfully established as the construction unit of local skill based high-level university. At present, there are more than 10000 full-time students and more than 2000 adult students.

Our college now has 35 specialties, forming a professional group serving the development of regional pillar industries, such as agriculture, forestry and horticulture, construction engineering, machinery manufacturing, cultural tourism, textile and clothing, financial logistics, electronic information, automobile engineering, environmental monitoring and management. At present, it has 2 majors supported by central finance, 9 provincial characteristic majors, 4 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, 3 vocational education training bases supported by central finance, 5 provincial demonstration experimental training centers, 3 provincial school enterprise cooperation education practice bases, 1 provincial Talent Training Mode Innovation Experimental Zone, and 3 provincial excellent talent education and training plan projects There are 9 provincial-level excellent courses, "excellent resource sharing Courses" and "excellent video open Courses", and more than 100 school enterprise cooperative development courses.
