Nanjing Tourism Vocational College

With the development of China's tourism industry, Nanjing Tourism Vocational College was first established in 1978. It is known as "the cradle of China's tourism talents" and "Huangpu Military Academy of China's hotel industry". The college adheres to the direction of refinement, specialization, human culture and internationalization, actively learns from the advanced school running concepts of foreign tourism higher vocational education, pays attention to the connotation construction, pays attention to the cultivation of emotional intelligence, pays attention to the cultivation of work style, and strives to cultivate widely recognized qualified talents for China's tourism industry. The employment rate of college graduates has always been maintained at more than 98%, ranking the top among colleges and universities in the province. Graduates are distributed in domestic five-star hotels, top 100 travel agencies, AAAAA scenic spots, airlines, airports, high-speed rail, banking, telecommunications, real estate and other high-end service industries, achieving "four highs", namely high employment rate, high-end employment, high counterpart employment and high development employment.

Located in Nanjing, the school has two campuses, Jiangning and huayangang. The campus covers an area of 546 mu, with more than 6300 students and 350000 books. There is a high-level boutique teaching practice Hotel and 38 experimental and training rooms with different functions, including one national training base, two provincial training bases, and more than 100 training bases for high-end tourism enterprises outside the school.

In 2015, the University became the construction unit of provincial demonstrative higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province, with teaching units such as school of hotel management, School of tourism management, School of cuisine and nutrition, Department of Humanities and arts, Department of international tourism, School of continuing education, basic department, etc. The school has set up 21 specialties around tourism and modern service industry, which interprets the development pattern of "big tourism". Among them, there are 2 provincial key construction specialty groups, 1 class a brand specialty in Jiangsu Province, and 2 provincial characteristic specialties. Now it is enrolling students from 21 provinces in China.
