Jilin City, a beautiful city in northern China, is located in Jilin Industrial Vocational and technical college, a National Demonstration Construction College of higher vocational education. Founded in Changchun in 1950, the college was called "Jilin Industrial College"; in 1953, it moved to Jilin City, the provincial capital at that time. The college covers an area of 188000 square meters and a building area of 116800 square meters. There are 320 teaching staff, 239 full-time teachers, 140 part-time teachers, 11 professors, 91 associate professors and 116 teachers with master's degree. The total value of fixed assets is 140 million yuan, the total value of teaching equipment is 28.9 million yuan, and the collection of books is more than 400000. The college has 26 majors mainly in chemical engineering, with 5256 students.
