Gansu Industry Polytechnic College

Gansu vocational and Technical College of industry is a public full-time college. Founded in 1979, the college was formerly affiliated to China National Nuclear Industry Corporation and is now in charge of Gansu Provincial Department of education. High school graduates and "three vocational students" will be recruited nationwide.

The college is located in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China, adjacent to Maijishan grottoes. The college covers an area of 388 mu, with an area of 127333 square meters. It has a standard university student restaurant and Halal Restaurant. Teaching, practice, sports and living facilities are complete, with reasonable layout, lush flowers and trees, green grass and elegant environment. After 30 years of development and growth, the college has accumulated rich experience in running a school, with strong strength and strong development potential. At present, there are "ten departments and three departments", including Department of resource exploration engineering, Department of architectural engineering, Department of information engineering, Department of electronic engineering, Department of chemical and environmental engineering, Department of Surveying and mapping engineering, Department of economic management, Department of tourism, Department of art and design, Department of engineering management, Department of basic disciplines, Department of adult education and Department of training, with a total of 25 majors and 58 professional directions. The specialty setting presents the construction pattern of "engineering oriented, literature, economics and management oriented, coordinated development". Among them, geology, hydrology, geophysical prospecting, basic engineering, industrial analysis, surveying and mapping and other specialties have developed into characteristic and advantageous specialties. The college has multimedia lecture hall, campus network, electronic reading room, mathematical modeling laboratory, voice room, audio-visual editing room, closed-circuit television teaching system, campus English radio and its standard track, basketball, volleyball and football playground. At present, there are 54 experimental training rooms and a training base for Higher Vocational Education in national defense science, technology and industry, and the library has a collection of more than 320000 books. The college has more than 8100 full-time students, with a comprehensive scale of more than 8700. There are 542 teaching staff (including 259 external teachers), 63 professors and associate professors, 78 postgraduates, 96 lecturers, 182 "double qualification" teachers and 1 foreign teacher.
