Heilongjiang communications vocational and Technical College

Heilongjiang communications vocational and technical college is a public higher vocational and technical college approved by Heilongjiang provincial government and registered by the Ministry of education. The college is located in the beautiful city of Qiqihar, Hecheng, and has a history of 60 years. After the railway was transferred to the local government in 2005, the college continued to adhere to the principle of running a school based on the railway, facing Longjiang and radiating the whole country.

The college has five departments: railway transportation management, railway rolling stock, civil engineering, telecommunication engineering and electromechanical engineering. There are 20 specialties in general higher vocational colleges, which are mainly oriented to railway, transportation, information technology, equipment manufacturing and other fields.

The college has 385 staff and 260 personnel engaged in teaching and research, including 86 professors and associate professors. It has formed a team of teachers who are enthusiastic about education, with high professional level and reasonable structure. Currently, there are 5026 full-time junior college students, 4380 adult correspondence junior college students, and 1236 undergraduate students jointly running network education with Beijing Jiaotong University.

The construction of laboratory and training base inside and outside the college is complete. Through on campus practice, practical training and off campus internship, students can initially form good professional ethics and professionalism while improving their technology application ability.

The college attaches great importance to the employment of graduates, and has established the employment guidance center. Relying on the employment market of various railway bureaus, the college has opened up the employment markets of various iron and Steel Group companies, coal group companies, China Railway Engineering Group companies, "Yangtze River Delta" region and Beijing region. Over the years, the employment rate of college graduates has been more than 95%, and the employment rate and quality of graduates are in the forefront of similar universities in the province.
