Tianjin City Vocational College

Tianjin City Vocational College, formerly known as Tianjin Hebei District staff University, was founded in August 1958. In 2002, it was transformed into a full-time vocational college and became the first multi-functional and Community Vocational College in China. The school has been rated as "advanced school of adult higher education" and "excellent school of national adult higher education evaluation" by the former State Education Commission. Awarded the glorious title of "Tianjin advanced vocational education unit" by Tianjin municipal government, the vocational education expert group of the Ministry of education visited our college and fully affirmed the school running characteristics and vocational education reform of our college.

In the past 50 years, the university has gone through all the vicissitudes and gradually stepped into glory. It has transformed from a well-known adult college to a comprehensive higher vocational college, and developed from a single adult education to the first multi-functional and Community College integrating vocational education, continuing education and community education.

The college is based on the community, radiates the whole city and even the whole country, and cultivates talents for the society. There are nearly 9000 students in the college who receive various academic education, such as higher vocational education, adult education, open education of radio and TV University, open education of aopeng, etc. Among them, higher vocational education offers 12 majors, enrolling students from 13 provinces and cities in China. As of 2008, there are more than 3800 students in higher vocational education. The college makes full use of its own resources to serve the needs of the community, actively promotes the work of social education in the whole district, runs universities for the elderly, and organizes various job training and educational counseling, with an annual number of training personnel reaching 24000.

The tradition of "pioneering and innovation, striving hard, uniting and cooperating, striving for the first class" has been accumulated in the past 50 years. The school motto of "cultivating morality and encouraging learning, strengthening ability and practicing" has been condensed, forming a unique campus culture and creating a good educational environment. Huiji Sifang has made outstanding achievements in their respective posts, made due contributions to the country and society, and won a good social reputation for the school.
