In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of the automobile industry, the college has set up the following courses: mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, industrial design, computer science and technology, automation, software engineering, material forming and engineering control, material science and engineering, vehicle engineering, Business Administration (Automobile Marketing), international economy and trade, and finance The undergraduate majors include business management, tourism management, information management and information system, electronic information science and technology, electronic information engineering (Automotive Electronic Engineering), business English, and higher vocational majors such as numerical control technology, automotive application technology, marketing, accounting, applied electronic technology and e-commerce, which are in short supply in the automotive industry.

The college cooperates with Stuttgart dual system university in Germany to set up a pilot class of higher dual system, to carry out various forms of school running, to introduce foreign advanced school running ideas and concepts, to establish contact with German funded enterprises in China, to arrange students' internships, and to broaden the employment space for students.

Since its establishment, the college has set up a full-time and part-time teaching staff. At the same time, relying on the large engineering background of Dongfeng Motor Company and the advantages of Dongfeng Motor Engineering Research Institute, technology research institute and equipment research institute, a group of senior engineers and engineers with rich practical experience and good engineering ability are employed as part-time teachers.
