Nanning Vocational and Technical College

Nanning Vocational and technical college, formerly known as Nanning Vocational University, was founded in 1984. It is a full-time comprehensive higher vocational college sponsored by Nanning Municipal People's government and jointly built by the district and city. In December 2009, the school passed the acceptance of demonstration construction by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance, becoming the first batch of 28 colleges in China and the first national demonstration vocational college in Guangxi.

NanningCollegeforVocationalTechnology(NCVT),formerlyNanningVocationalUniversity(in1984), isunderthemanagementofGuangxiZhuangAutonomousRegionandNannin gMunicipalGovernment.Asoneofthefirstgroupof28collegesintheprojectofNationalModelHigherVocationalCollege ，andappraisedbytheinspectionteamfromMinistryofEducationandMinistryofFinance，NCVTisdesignatedaNationalDemonstrativeVocationalCollegeinDecember2009。

The school covers an area of more than 130 hectares, with a building area of more than 500000 square meters. There are more than 16500 full-time vocational students and 3200 adult continuing education students.

Theschoolcoversanareaof130hectares,includinganaccommodationareaforstudentdormitoriesof500,000 squaremeters.Oncampus ,NCVTnowserves16,500full-timestudentsand3,200part-timestudents.

The school closely follows the industrial layout and structural adjustment of Guangxi and Beibu Gulf economy to build a professional system. It has set up 10 secondary colleges and more than 60 Higher Vocational Majors. Among them, six majors, including interior design technology, mechatronics technology, logistics management, hotel management, application of Thai language and software technology, are national demonstration key majors.

The university has two national teaching achievement awards, one national top-quality major and nine national top-quality courses. It is the only university in Guangxi that has national top-quality major and won national top-quality courses for six consecutive years.

The school has a full-time and part-time "double teacher" quality teaching team led by national famous teachers and national excellent teaching team.
