Tianjin College of Commerce

Tianjin Vocational College of foreign economic relations and trade is the only full-time higher vocational college of international trade and foreign languages in Tianjin approved by the state. It is under the leadership of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce and Tianjin Municipal Commission of education. In 2007, the college was identified as the project unit of Tianjin model university construction plan by Tianjin Municipal Education Commission.

The college is located in Hexi District of Tianjin city, covering an area of 244 mu, and 122 mu of regulatory planning, with a construction area of more than 100000 square meters. The campus environment is elegant and the teaching facilities are complete.

The college has five departments, three departments and three centers: Department of foreign languages, Department of international trade, Department of international logistics, Department of business management and Department of accounting; Department of basic courses, Department of Social Sciences and Department of physical education; Information Center, training center and training center. At present, the college has more than 7000 students.

The college has a team of full-time teachers with excellent professional knowledge and strong practical ability; 50% of the teachers have a master's degree or above, and more than 30% have the titles of professor and associate professor; the college has a leading group with high academic level and strong management ability. The college also has a visiting professor team composed of famous scholars and entrepreneurs at home and abroad, such as Nankai University and Sydney University, and a senior expert consulting team composed of government departments, famous entrepreneurs and professors.

The college firmly seizes a series of rare historical opportunities, such as the vigorous development of vocational education, the development of modern service industry, the construction of service outsourcing base city, the construction of northern international shipping center and international logistics center, and strives to build the college into a National Exemplary Higher Vocational College. In 2007, the college was approved by Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce as the first service outsourcing training base in Tianjin. In 2009, the college was awarded by the Ministry of education and Tianjin Municipal People's government as the training base for skilled talents in shortage in Binhai New Area, which has made great achievements in serving the open economic development of the whole country, Bohai Rim region and Tianjin.
