Chenzhou is a prefecture level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province. The origin of the name
The character "Chen" belongs to Chenzhou alone. It was first seen in the Qin Dynasty. It is a seal character "Chen". It is composed of two characters of Lin and Yi, which means "city in the forest".
