At present, Shaanxi is a major apple province with the largest apple planting area and the highest output in China, with an apple planting area of 11 million mu, accounting for one quarter of China and one seventh of the world. Every three cups of apple juice in the world comes from Shaanxi.
More than 40000 square kilometers north of Weihe River in Shaanxi Province is located at 35 ° N and 800-1200 meters above sea level. It is the best eugenic area for apples with large temperature difference between day and night, sufficient light and deep soil layer.
At the same time, the number of Apple planting enterprises in Shaanxi is also the largest in China. Enterprise survey data show that there are more than 27000 Apple planting related enterprises nationwide. Among them, Shaanxi has the largest number of Apple planting related enterprises, reaching 7608, accounting for 28% of the national total. Gansu followed, with 3655 related enterprises. Shandong, Shanxi and Hebei ranked third to fifth with 3631, 3326 and 2397 respectively.
