[source] the silkworm pupa was fermented by Beauveria bassiana. For the animal and plant morphology, please refer to the "white Bombyx Batryticatus" section.

Methods: Beauveria bassiana was cultured at 25-28 ℃ for 10-12 days on an inclined plane. Then, the strain was expanded with cocoon boiling liquid as liquid. After shaking on the shaking table for about 36 hours, the liquid was uniform and turbid, and the pupae could be grafted.

In addition, the silkworm chrysalis was washed, dried and broken, and used as fermentation substrate to inoculate the above bacteria. At 25-28 ℃, the silkworm pupae were incubated for 2-3 days in closed culture or semi naked culture, and then incubated for 5-7 days in shallow plate naked culture. The pupae produced white spores or yellow in white. Then sterilization (90-100 ℃, 2-3 hours) and drying.

[herbal medicine] is irregular block with white or yellow white surface. It's light, crisp, fragile, with mould smell and peculiar fishy smell.

[chemical constituents] see "white Bombyx Batryticatus" and "silkworm chrysalis".

[pharmacological action] 1

The effect on convulsion induced by strychnine nitrate in mice is obvious, which is consistent with that of Bombyx Batryticatus. It is also consistent with Bombyx Batryticatus in reducing mortality. In the two results, Bombyx Batryticatus pupae were slightly better than Bombyx Batryticatus.

② Bacteriostasis

It can inhibit Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

③ Inhibitory effect on mice meat lameness 180

The inhibition rate was 71.4%, P value was less than 0.05. The effect was obvious when each mouse was given 0.2 ml of 50% stiff pupa Decoction by oral gavage every day, P value was less than 0.05. The effect was obvious when each mouse was given 0.18 ml of 30% stiff pupa Decoction by subcutaneous injection every day, P value was less than 0.05.

[toxicity] no death and pathological phenomenon were found in the pupae of mice fed with 2 mg / g body weight for 22 days. There was no difference in the anatomy of liver, spleen and kidney between the two groups.

Functions and indications: antipyretic, antitussive, expectorant, sedative, anti convulsive, detumescence, and nerve regulation, mostly related to fat metabolism. Treatment of epilepsy, febrile convulsion, mumps, upper respiratory tract infection, chronic tracheitis, enuresis, urticaria, high serum cholesterol, etc. It is generally used as a substitute for Bombyx Batryticatus.

[usage and dosage] it is made into tablets, 0.3 g each, 20-30 tablets per day for adults, three times a day.

[clinical application] 1

100 cases of various types of epilepsy were treated with jianyupian at the same dose for 15 days. After half a year, if there is no epileptic seizure, the dosage can be reduced gradually, with 1 / 3 of the dosage as the maintenance dose for more than 1-2 years. After 2 months to 2 years of observation, the results showed that 26 cases were markedly effective, 51 cases were progressive and 23 cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was 77%. Preliminary observation: This product has good curative effect on patients with primary epilepsy, major seizure type, age less than 30 years old and course less than 4 years. Generally, four courses of medication can get certain curative effect, but the length of treatment is not proportional to the curative effect. Generally, there were no side effects, only a few patients had nausea and epigastric discomfort due to the fishy smell of the drug; 3 patients developed acne like rash, which naturally subsided within 2 days after stopping the drug.

② Treatment of mumps

51 cases were observed, 7 days as a course of treatment, 43 cases were effective. Generally, fever subsided in 1-2 days and swelling disappeared in 2-3 days.

③ Treatment of upper respiratory tract infection

37 cases of hypothermia were observed. Most of the hypothermia occurred in 1-2 days after treatment, and the longest was 4 days. Among them, 8 cases with severe angina disappeared after taking medicine for 2 days.

④ Treatment of chronic bronchitis

Among 94 cases, 70 cases had cough relief and sputum thinning, but the long-term effect was poor.

⑤ Treatment of epidemic encephalitis B

For patients with more sputum, it can make the sputum thin, which is conducive to drainage and aspiration. "Zhijing powder" made of stiff pupa powder, scorpion and centipede has certain effect on cooling and spasm.

⑥ Treatment of enuresis

26 cases were observed. After 20-30 days, 18 cases were effective. The frequency of nocturia was significantly reduced or disappeared, but some patients were easy to relapse.

⑦ Treatment of urticaria

32 cases were observed. After 7 days of treatment, 7 cases had no recurrence, 11 cases had obvious remission, and 14 cases had no obvious effect.

⑧ Lower serum cholesterol

It was used in 25 patients with elevated serum cholesterol, such as arteriosclerotic heart disease, hypertension and fatty liver. After 20-30 days of treatment, 14 patients showed different degrees of decrease in cholesterol, β - lipoprotein turbidity and α, β - lipoprotein electrophoresis.

In addition, it has certain curative effect on nephritis, hematuria, cervical lymphadenitis, sequelae of encephalitis and brain hypoplasia.
