Generally speaking, the number of spasmodic cough was significantly reduced on the first day after taking the medicine, the spasmodic cough time was greatly shortened, and the spasmodic cough stopped on the fourth to fifth day. Usage: mix the fresh chicken gall juice with sugar and take it orally, 1 / 4 for each time under 1 year old, 1 / 2 for each time between 2-3 years old, 1 for each time between 3-5 years old and 2 for each time between 5-7 years old. They were taken twice a day for 7-12 years old.

② Treatment of chronic tracheitis

In recent years, studies have shown that chicken bile has anti-inflammatory effect, and some units have made chicken bile tablets. According to the preliminary observation, Jidan tablet has anti-inflammatory, antitussive and expectorant effects, and is effective in treating yellow phlegm (excess heat) or ash. The curative effect of the patients with green, white and sticky phlegm (deficiency cold) was better. Usage: Jidan tablets 3 tablets each time (each tablet is equivalent to 3ml of chicken bile), or compound Jidan tablets 2 tablets each time (each tablet contains 0.2g of concentrated chicken bile and 10mg of ephedrine), 3 times a day. Among 250 cases, 69 cases were cured (27.6%), 60 cases were markedly effective (24%), 89 cases were improved (35.6%), 32 cases were ineffective (12.8%), and the total effective rate was 87.2%. Most of the patients feel loose throat, easy sputum and less sputum after taking Jidan tablets, especially compound Jidan tablets. But very few people feel numb, flustered or nauseous, abdominal pain after taking medicine. There are also clinical cure, because of cold and recurrence, and with chicken bile tablets cured. Therefore, Jidan tablet has a good short-term effect on chronic tracheitis, but the long-term effect remains to be further observed. In addition, it is reported that chenodeoxycholic acid, an effective component extracted from chicken bile, has basically the same antibacterial and pharmacological effects as chicken bile, but far stronger than chicken bile. After clinical trial, it is considered that it has strong anti-inflammatory, antitussive and expectorant effects, but weak antiasthmatic effect, so it has the best effect on simple tracheitis. The effective time is half an hour in the fast group and 3-4 days in the slow group. The long-term effect remains to be further observed. After taking chenodeoxycholic acid, 60-80% of the patients had different degrees of gastrointestinal irritation symptoms, such as purring, abdominal pain, diarrhea or burning sensation of stomach and esophagus. Most of the reactions were mild, only a few were severe. Drinking more water or taking after meals can reduce the side effects. Individual patients with severe side effects due to gastric and duodenal ulcer can be relieved by taking Hyoscyamus tablets.

③ Treatment of infantile bacillary dysentery

Take fresh chicken gall to process dry powder, add appropriate amount of lactose to make 25% gall powder. Daily dose: 1g within 1 year old, 1.6g between 1 and 2 years old, 2G between 2 and 5 years old. Three times. More than 20 cases were cured in 1-3 days, except those with complications. The results showed that the product had inhibitory effect on Shigella flexneri.
