Functions and indications: dispelling wind, dispersing cold, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. Treat headache, cold, cough, vomiting and diarrhea, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic injury, toothache.

The fresh roots (or leaves and fruits) of Zanthoxylum bungeanum bungeanum were distilled into injection, and every 2 ml was equivalent to 2 g of crude drug. Each time intramuscular injection 2 ~ 4 ml. 208 cases of biliary tract diseases, gastric and duodenal ulcer, intestinal spasm and postoperative pain were treated. The analgesic effect can be maintained for 5-10 hours and repeated every 12 hours if necessary.
