Patrinia pseudopatrinia

Perennial herbs. Stem erect, ca. 50 cm tall, slightly fleshy, branches spreading transversely. Single leaf opposite, ovate, 4-6 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, apex pointed, base cuneate; margin serrate. Spikes terminal, long and scattered; bracteoles 1, triangular, close to calyx tube; calyx narrowly tubular, 4-5-toothed; corolla blue, tube slender, cylindrical, slightly curved, lobes 5, stamens 2, pseudostamens 2; ovary 2-locular. Capsule enclosed in calyx. It blooms in summer.

Born on the hillside. Fields, roadsides. It is distributed in the south coast of China and the south of Yunnan.
