[plant morphology] annual awning

Herbs Biennial. Stem erect, 30-90 cm high, pubescent. The basal leaves are ovate lanceolate, 4-15 cm long and 1.5-3 cm wide, apex pointed or obtuse, base narrowly winged; cauline leaves alternate, lanceolate or linear. The leaves on the upper part of stem are mostly linear, entire, ciliate. Inflorescence, arranged in corymbose shape, about 1.5 cm in diameter; involucre hemispherical, bracts linear; outer edge ligulate flower, 2 to several rows, tongue linear, white or purplish, pistil 1, stigma 2 split into shape, outer corolla short, inner corolla block; central tubular flower, yellow, apex 6-lobed, stamen 5, pistil 1, stigma 2, lobed and flat, corolla 2 rows, inner long, outer short, flower Torus slightly convex, with fine dots. Achene flat, margin ribbed. The flowering period is from May to November.

Born on the side of the road, wilderness, hillside. Distributed in Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei and other places.

[clinical application] 1

Take 2 liang a year, add water to fry about 300 ml, 4 hours and 2 hours before the onset of malaria, once a day for 5-7 days. 84 cases were treated, 78 cases were cured (92.9%). Among them, 72 cases (94.7%) were cured in 76 cases of vivax malaria and 6 cases (70%) were cured in 8 cases of falciparum malaria. Fresh annual awning is better than hay. Its antimalarial effect is only effective on Plasmodium erythrocyticus.

② Treatment of acute infectious hepatitis

2 liang a year, decocted into 300 ml, 2 times a day, 2 weeks for a course of treatment, even more than two courses of treatment; or with 5 yuan a year, water decocted cream, add 2.5 yuan Artemisia powder, mixed into tablets, 3 times a day, the course of treatment is the same. 37 cases were treated with Decoction, 22 cases were cured, 1 case was markedly effective, and 7 cases were improved. The average cure time was 43.5 days, and the time for yellowing and transaminase to return to normal was about 2 weeks. 10 cases were treated with tablet, 6 cases were cured, 3 cases were improved; the average time of yellowing was 19.5 days, and the transaminase returned to normal for 20.2 days.
