[plant morphology] hongshanhua

Perennial erect herbs, 1-2 m high. Roots slender, cylindrical, transverse, with many fibrous roots. The stem is round, with longitudinal lines, distinct nodes, coarsely hairy, and red juice after breaking. The leaflets are 3-11, 8-16 cm in length and 4-7 cm in width, 1 larger at the top, ovate. The leaflets on both sides are oblong lanceolate to oblong ovate, apex acuminate to long acuminate, margin serrate, base blunt or broadly cuneate.
