Climbing deciduous vines, 10 m long. Branchlets densely pubescent. Leaves alternate; odd pinnate compound, ca. 30 cm long. Leaflets 11-13, ovoid, 5-8 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base rounded to subcordate, densely filamentous when young, subglabrous when old. Raceme axillary, 5-9 cm long, flowers lavender or green, about 2.5 cm long, corolla butterfly shaped, green; stamens into two groups. Pods linear, about 10 cm long, with yellow hairs, 10-11 cm long.

It is found in the shrubbery on the hillside or in the shady wetland by the river. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
