[source] it is the root or whole plant of Vitis vinifera.

[plant morphology] yueshe grape, also known as chizhishan grape, niuzhaosi, hongxuelong and Tianpu tea.

Tricholoma woody, all glabrous; tendrils stout. One pinnate compound leaf, with 3-5 leaflets, or nearly two pinnate compound leaves (that is, the lowest pair of leaflets are further divided into 3 leaflets); leaflets are nearly leathery, ovate or oblong, of different sizes, 2-8 cm long, apex short pointed, base rounded, sometimes broad cuneate, margin with inconspicuous obtuse teeth. Inflorescence 3-4-2-dichotomous; flowers ca. 2 mm long; petiole as long as flowers; calyx margin undivided; petals 5, apex obtuse; style conic. Fruit obovate oblate, 5-6 mm in diameter, purple black when ripe.

Distributed in Anhui, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-1.5 Liang. External use: tamping or grinding.

[clinical application] it has been used in more than 4000 cases of Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other infectious diseases, 3013 cases were cured, the cure rate was about 70%, and no adverse reactions were found. The disease types are as follows:

① Treatment of osteomyelitis and bone tuberculosis

12 cases of osteomyelitis were cured in 15-20 days and 5 cases were markedly effective; 7 cases of bone tuberculosis were cured in 30-60 days and 4 cases were markedly effective.

② Treatment of acute lymphadenitis

There were 35 cases, including 31 cases of acute cervical lymphadenitis and 4 cases of acute inguinal lymphadenitis. After 3-6 days of treatment, 31 cases were cured and 4 cases were markedly effective.

③ Treatment of acute suppurative mastitis

After 3-5 days of treatment, 8 cases were cured and 2 cases were markedly effective.

④ Treatment of dermatosis and general surgical furuncle

A total of 2028 cases of impetigo, eczema, cellulitis, erysipelas, furuncle and abscess were treated. After 2-10 days, 1504 cases were cured, 152 cases were markedly effective and 372 cases were ineffective.

⑤ Treatment of surgical infection

1364 cases were treated for 3-6 days. The results showed that the cure rate was 71.8%, the effective rate was 15.1%, and the invalid rate was 13.1%.

⑥ Treatment of acute laryngitis and tonsillitis

137 cases of acute laryngitis were treated for 2-6 days. 86% of them were cured and 8.6% were markedly effective. 37 cases of acute tonsillitis were treated for 1-4 days, 32 cases were cured and 5 cases were markedly effective.

⑦ Treatment of suppurative otitis media and mastoiditis

A total of 84 cases were treated for 5-9 days, 34 cases were cured, 45 cases were markedly effective and 5 cases were ineffective.

⑧ Treatment of acute bronchitis and bronchopneumonia

In 65 cases of acute bronchopneumonia, 18 cases were cured, 42 cases were markedly effective and 5 cases were ineffective after 1-2 days of treatment; in 254 cases of acute bronchitis, 26.3% were cured and 73.7% were markedly effective after 3-6 days of treatment.

⑨ Treatment of acute nephritis

After treatment for 6-10 days, 12 cases were cured and 26 cases were markedly effective.

⑩ Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

After 4-9 days of treatment, 30 cases were cured and 15 cases were markedly effective.

In addition, it has different degrees of curative effect on deep myositis, deep muscle abscess, acute alveolar abscess, abortion complicated with infection and postoperative infection prevention.

Methods of administration: commonly used decoction, injection and tablet. Decoction: adults use 1.5-2 liang of dried Guangdong snake grape and a little pig bone to add water to the noodles, then add a small amount of salt and rice wine, one dose a day. Injection: yueshe grape is made into 1:2 injection, 3-4 ml for adults, twice a day. Tablet: each tablet contains about 1g crude drug, 6-8 tablets for adults each time, 3-4 times a day.
