[source] it is the reticular fiber of the old hot fruit of Luffa (Cucurbitaceae) or the withered old fruit of Luffa (Guangdong). For plant morphology, please refer to Luffa.

[collection] in autumn, take the withered and old fruits, rub off the skin and flesh, or soak them in water until the skin and flesh rot, then take them out and wash them.
