[plant morphology] Sedum sarmentosum

Perennial succulent herbs, 10-20 cm high. The stem is light red, the branch is slender, inclined, creeping, and easy to root near the inflorescence. Leaves 3 whorls, oblanceolate to oblong, 1.5-2.5 cm long, apex pointed, base cuneate, extending along the stem into semicircular auricle, entire. The flowers are 2-dichotomous cymes spreading; sepals 5, green, broadly lanceolate to oblong, almost as long as petals; petals 5, yellow, lanceolate to oblong, 5-8 mm long, apex with long protruding tips; stamens 10, anthers narrowly ovate, or oblong, filaments slender; carpels 5, slightly open. [clinical application] ① treatment of non icteric infectious hepatitis

Chuipencao tablets were divided into low-temperature tablets (each containing 3 grams of crude drug) and normal temperature tablets (each containing 2 grams of crude drug) according to different preparation technology. Three to six low-temperature tablets and five to seven normal temperature tablets were taken three times a day for three months. 20 cases of persistent hepatitis and chronic hepatitis were treated with low temperature tablets. 18 cases were markedly effective (the symptoms were obviously improved, and the transaminase returned to normal for one month).
