[plant morphology] litmus

The stipe is cylindrical, 5-10 cm high, hollow, all gray white, with rough surface, holes and many branches. The top of the branch has radial branchlets inclined to one side. It is hard and crisp when dry and soft when wet. Fruiting apparatus at the tip of branchlets, hemispherical, dark brown.

Born in dry mountains. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places.
