Herbs perennial, climbing. The stem is slender, with longitudinal strips and without prickles. Leaves alternate; ovate, oblong ovate to ovate lanceolate, 6-9 cm long, 2.8-6.5 cm wide, apex acuminate or pointed, base cuneate or suborbicular, both surfaces smooth and glabrous; petiole base with 2 tendrils. The flowers are unisexual, allogeneic; inflorescence umbelliform; axillary; perianth 6 pieces, free, reflexed outward; stamen 6 in male flowers, shorter than perianth lobes; stamen linear in female flowers, ovary spherical, stigma 3-lobed. Berries globose, black. The flowering period is June.
