Small trees, 5-8 m high. Young branches densely covered with grayish yellow hairs. Leaflets 5-9, leathery, elliptic or oblong oblanceolate, 6-10 cm long and 2-3 cm wide, densely covered with grayish yellow hairs. Flowers yellow white, axillary or terminal panicle, or axillary raceme; rachis, petiole and calyx are densely covered with grayish yellow hairs on both sides; calyx gyriform, lobes ovate triangular, splitting to the middle; petals about 2 cm long, flag petal suborbicular, petiolate; stamens 10, stamens 10, 5 developed, 5 degenerated, unequal in length, curved inward, protruding at flowering; ovary margin with sparse hairs, style long linear, stigma inclined.
