[source] it is the eye of Cyprinus carpio, which belongs to Cyprinidae. See "Cyprinus carpio" for animal morphology.

[chemical composition] the content of vitamin C 0.44 mg% in carp eye is higher in spring and summer than in autumn and winter. Carp is a freshwater fish, and there is only vitamin A2 on the omentum.
