[function indications] it is used to treat weakness of hands and feet and swelling of renal capsule.

[formula selection] 1. To treat weakness of hands and feet, it is like paralysis: two capsicum heads, fifteen pairs of chicken feet (cut from above the knee), two pairs of peanut meat and six red dates. Simmer with water and wine. (collection of herbs in Lingnan)

[clinical application] treatment of functional uterine bleeding

Take 5 yuan (fresh 1 liang) of hot pepper root and 2-4 chicken feet, fried and served twice. After stopping bleeding, continue to take 5-10 doses to consolidate the curative effect. According to the follow-up observation of 31 cases, 2-3 doses can stop bleeding. Most of the cured cases could recover menstrual cycle, only 2 cases recurred.
