Another name: Tricholoma matsutake.

[source] it is a xeromorphic tumor of the Polyporaceae plant alopecuroides.

[plant morphology] bitter white hoof, also known as medicinal layer hole.

The pileus is horseshoe shaped, usually larger than fist, white to light yellow, with smooth thin skin on the surface at the initial stage, then gradually cracking and coarsening, sometimes with concentric rings and blunt edges; the flesh is soft, pink white, loose and light, fragile when old; the tubule is white and multilayer. The spores are colorless, smooth and ovoid.

On the trunk of pine and larch. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places.

[chemical constituents] it contains a variety of triterpenoids and steroids, among which the main ones are dentate acid and dehydro dentate acid. Functions and indications: warming lung and resolving phlegm, reducing Qi and asthma, dispelling wind and removing dampness, promoting blood circulation and detumescence, diuresis, detoxifying snake venom.

[optional formula] ① for cough and asthma: Ali Hong is one money, two money. Take it in water.

② Treatment of stomachache, too much acid: Ali red one money five points, rub broken, decoction.

③ Treatment of urinary calculi, nephritis: Ali red, each one money five points. Decoct in water and serve.

④ Treatment of chronic rheumatoid arthritis: Ali red, thorn sugar each one money. Take it with warm water.

⑤ Treatment of pharyngitis, periodontitis: Ali red amount, water gargle.

[clinical application] treatment of chronic tracheitis

Take alihong decoction, 1.5 ~ 3 yuan each time, twice a day, for 10 days as a course of treatment. After five courses of treatment, 13 cases (12.4%) were nearly controlled, 49 cases (46.7%) were markedly effective, and 36 cases (34.8%) were improved. The effective rate was 93.9%. Preliminary observation showed that the effect of antitussive and antiasthmatic was better than expectorant, and the effect of simple type was better than asthmatic type.
