Herbs short, ca. 4 cm tall. The stem is single or several. Leaves opposite, sessile, dense, entire; basal leaves several, broadly ovate or ovate elliptic, 12-15 mm long, 11-12 mm wide, apex acuminate, apex caudate acuminate. Base obtuse; cauline leaves oblanceolate to obovate lanceolate. It is 7-10 mm in length and 3-7 mm in width. The lower part of the leaf is larger, the apex is pointed, the base is narrower, and the leaf margin is membranous and white. Flowers 1-2 terminal; corolla blue, campanulate, about 12 mm long, 5-lobed, lobes ovate triangular, with a dentate appendage at the fold, several as large as lobes. Capsule, membranous split into 2 petals. Seeds numerous, surface light brown.

It grows in the grass of higher mountains. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangdong and other places.
