[source] it is the root or root bark of Acanthopanax senticosus.

[plant morphology] Hedysarum chinense

tree. The stem is thick and dark brown in appearance. They are palmately compound; 5-7 leaflets with long stalks; the leaflets are oblong or oblong, harp shaped, 9-20 cm long, 3.5-7.5 cm wide, apex pointed, base rounded, lobes with sparse shallow teeth, glabrous on the top, gray white below, densely stellate pubescent, main veins thick and obvious.
