[herbal medicine] most of the dried leaves are shriveled and yellow green. The expanded leaves are palmately compound, 5 leaflets, elliptic, 2.5-7 cm long and 2-3 cm wide, with serrate margin and small burr on the dorsal vein. It's brittle. The petiole is slender, 4-8 cm long and 3-5 mm thick, with longitudinal grooves on the surface. It is slightly fragrant and bitter. It is better to be dry, green, complete and fragrant.
