Lin Youchun
Lin Youchun (1879-1939), the son of Lin chaoxuan and the great grandson of Lin Dingbang, was born in xiacuo of Lin family.
Since he was a child, he has been a master of poetry in Liang Dynasty. Therefore, in the era of Japanese occupation, Mr. Lin Youchun, Mr. Hu Nanming and Mr. Lian Yatang were in full swing in the poetry world. His poems and essays had both styles. His profound ancient style poetry foundation was elegant and vigorous, especially his skill. He had the legacy of Li Bai. He was "one of the most outstanding poets" among the ancient poets in Taiwan in the past 300 years. Therefore, he was regarded as the leader of the generation in Taiwan poetry world and wrote more than 400 poems Nanqiang poetry anthology, written in this paper, occupies a certain position in the history of Anti Japanese national movement and literature in Taiwan. When Xu Guanfu, a famous Taiwanese poet, wrote a preface to Lin Youchun's Nanqiang poetry anthology, he called his poems "the soul of a nation that has never been destroyed" and called them "a generation of national poets".
The "oak society" advocated by Mr. Lin Youchun and his uncle Mr. Chi Xian was a gathering place of celebrities in Taichung. It flourished for a time. Uncle and nephew were called "Da Ruan, Xiao Ruan". In addition, he set up a "Taiwan Literary Society" with friends, issued "Taiwan literary poetry" and devoted himself to the Renaissance of culture and education. Later, he launched a "Taiwan parliamentary movement" with people with lofty ideals. In 1923, Mr. Lin Youchun and Mr. Cai Peihuo were arrested and imprisoned by the Japanese for opposing the Japanese government. In the prison, he wrote many poems against the Japanese colonists, which were co edited as "ten laws in prison", comparable to Wen Tianxiang's Haoran Zhengqi song. Unfortunately, Lin Chi Xian died young at the age of 41.
