Ji Ren
Ji Ren (?)? 469 BC), posthumous title: King yuan of Zhou Dynasty, emperor of Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The son of Jizhe, King Jing of Zhou Dynasty. From 476 BC to 469 BC, he was in power for eight years.
Life of the characters
During Ji Ren's reign, after Gou Jian, king of Yue, conquered the state of Wu, he took advantage of the victory and crossed the Huaihe River to join the alliance of Qi, Jin, Lu and song in Xu (now the south of Tengzhou in Shandong Province). After the alliance, Ji Ren sent people to send tribute to Ji Ren. Ji Ren also gave Goujian meat for ancestor worship. He ordered him to be his uncle and admitted that he was in the leading position of the princes. Gou Jian became a temporary overlord.
Ji Ren died in the winter of 469 BC. After Ji Ren died, his posthumous title was king yuan.
