Wen Boren (1502-1575), a painter of Ming Dynasty, was named Decheng. He was named Wufeng, sheshanchang, Baosheng, sheshanlaonong, wufengshanren, wufengqiaoke. He was a Han nationality from Hengshan, Huguang. He was born in Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu). Wen Zhengming's nephew. He was irritable and easy to get angry. When he was young, he had a lawsuit with Shu Zhengming and was once imprisoned. He imitated Wang Meng and studied "three Zhaos" (Lingdan, Boju and Mengfu) in landscape painting. He was famous for his clear and vigorous strokes, lush rocks and unusual scenery. The horizontal drape is very large, and it has the reputation of blue, but the composition has a sense of stuffiness. He is good at painting figures and poetry. His landscape paintings are simple and complex. The simple one imitates Wen Zhengming's fine brushwork of mountains and waters, with sparse scenery, fine brushwork, and more lyrical interest; the complex one comes from Wang Meng, with mountains and forests stacked, full composition, dense textured points, and lush realm.

In the 30th year of Jiajing (1551), he wrote the painting of flying snow on ten thousand mountains, which is now stored in the National Museum of Tokyo, Japan; in the 41st year (1562), he wrote the painting of liuse in Dumen, and in the 45th year (1566), he wrote the painting of autumn mountain tour, which is stored in Shanghai Museum; in the 43rd year of Jiajing (1564), he wrote the painting of xishanxian Museum, which is now stored in Guangzhou Art Museum; in the 4th year of Longqing (1570), he wrote the painting of Tianmushan, which is also stored in SONGFENG Museum The axis of gaoshitu is collected in Liaoning Provincial Museum; the axis of Shihu Caotang is collected in Suzhou Museum; the axis of Chunshan Baiyun, the axis of qiaogu (1560), the axis of snow landscape (1560) are collected in the Palace Museum; the axis of Songjing Shiji is collected in Nanjing Museum; and the axis of garden 15 is collected in Dagang Xubaizhai.
