Li Xiyuan
Li Xiyuan (1780-1869), a painter of the Qing Dynasty, was the leader of Chongshan in tongguli (now Luojin township).
In the 16th year of Daoguang (1836), he made a tribute. Zhou Weigeng's son-in-law. In his later years, he came in and out of Ni and Huang. He was magnificent and rich, and deep in the hills and valleys. It's wonderful to sketch from life in between. Mi Fu, a calligrapher, can get rid of his shortcomings. He was quiet in nature, hiding in Chongshan in the late days, entertaining himself with poems and paintings, and teaching his nephews. Therefore, Li's painting brush was like a rest, which was called prosperous at that time. He died in the eighth year of Tongzhi and was 90 years old.
