Zhu Mou
Zhu Mou (1920-1951) is a native of yuekeng village, Huotian Town, Yunxiao County, Fujian Province. Born in August 1920, he joined the army in December 1949 and served as the Deputy monitor of the feeding class of the Logistics Department of 655 regiment, 219th division, 53rd army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.
After the outbreak of the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, he went to Korea to fight and disappeared on the Korean battlefield. In December 1962, he was recognized as a martyr. Explanation: there should be a mistake in Yunxiao County annals about the number of Zhu Mou's Army (655 regiment, 219th division, 53rd Army)! The unit was reorganized from the Kuomintang army which revolted in Hunan in August 1949 and was under the command of the 21st corps after reorganization in September 1951. No record of the army's participation in the Korean War was found.
