Wang Ning

Wang Ning

Wang Ning, formerly known as Wang Luning, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1955 in Dongzhuang village, Lidao Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. He was born in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. On July 31, 2015, he was promoted to the rank of armed police general.

He is now a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the Constitution and Law Committee of the 13th National People's Congress.

Biography of characters

He once served as the commander of the antiaircraft artillery regiment of the 12th group army, the brigade commander of the antiaircraft artillery brigade of the 31st army, and the division commander of the 91st division.

In December 2003, he served as chief of staff of Shanghai Garrison district.

In November 2006, he served as commander of Jiangxi military region.

In November 2007, he served as commander of the 31st group army.

In December 2010, he served as chief of staff of Beijing Military Region.

Promotion of military rank

In July 2005, he was promoted to the rank of major general.

In 2012, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general.

In July 2015, he was promoted to the rank of armed police general.
