Guipin, one of the highest titles of imperial concubines in ancient China, only existed in the Jin Dynasty and the southern and Northern Dynasties. Guipin No.1 began when Cao Pi granted her queen Guo guipin.

During the Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties, GUI pin was always the first of the three ladies, second only to the queen. The Southern Song Dynasty followed the system, and later changed the three ladies to guipin, Guifei and Guiren; Taizong changed guipin, Guiji and Guifei to the three ladies. In the Southern Dynasty of Chen Dynasty, GUI pin, Gui Fei and GUI Ji were called the three madams, ranking second to the empress.

After the northern and Southern Dynasties, there was no such position, and guipin No. 1 was replaced by Guifei.
