Yu Shanqing

Yu Shanqing, also known as Yu Zhidao (1166-1250), was named Boxiang. His main life: Yu Shanqing, who is not a vegetarian, has a long history. In the 22nd year of Dading (1182), Ma Danyang returned to Ninghai from Zhongnan, where he lived in Jinlian hall. In Shanqing, he joined his family, and his parents and elder sister joined the Tao. After Ma Danyang died, Liu chuxuan and Wang Chuyi ordered Yu Shanqing to visit Qiu Chuji in Guanzhong. Yu Shanqing first went to Zhongnan ancestral court to see Li Lingyang, then went to Pingliang to see Cui Yangtou, and then went to Longshan Longmen cave to learn from Qiu Chuji.

In 1185, Qiu Chuji ordered him to write to tan chuduan in Luoyang. Later, Tan chuduan died and returned to Guanzhong. The following year, he lived with Qiu Chuji in Zhongnan ancestral court. In 1191, Qiu Chuji was forced to return to Shandong. He ordered Yu Shanqing to go to Quanzhen hall in Yiyang Shimen, where he lived in seclusion in Wuyue, Longzhou, with pucha Daoyuan as his companion. He also went to worship king Chuyi in Yanjing and became a common disciple of five of Quanzhen's seven sons except Hao and sun er. Taihe three years (1203), Longzhou Mu Bao played him as "Chongxu master.". Taihe five years (1205) to Shandong Qixia worship Qiu Chuji, after Qiu urged the West also. He lived in Tianping temple in seclusion. The following year, Qiu Chuji sent Bi Zhichang, then the abbot of Zhongnan ancestral court, to Tianping temple to urge him to return to Fulong as soon as possible. When Yu Shanqing saw Qiu Chuji's great responsibility to himself, he had no choice but to follow his orders. He changed his name to Zhidao and returned to Guanzhong in the West. In the eighth year of Taihe (1208), the Jin court successfully used the army in the Southern Song Dynasty. After the peace negotiation between song and Jin Dynasties, a large number of song prisoners stayed in Guanlong, and many people went to Wuyue to become Taoists. Yu Shanqing took in hundreds of people, making them separate Taoist temples in different places. In the third year of Zhengda period (1226), the Jin Dynasty sent a special envoy to Zhongtai to take up the post of tidian in the first palace of Zhongtai. In 1233, Daliang fell to Mongolia. Yu Shanqing, who was sent by the Mongolian court to visit celebrities of the three religions, ranked first and was called to the north. In 1235, Yu Shanqing was granted the title of "tongxuan Guangde Dongzhen Zhenren". In July of that year, he served as the abbot of Zhongyang palace of Zhongnan ancestral court and led the right sect of Shaanxi. In the following 15 years, Yu Shanqing expanded the Chongyang Palace on a large scale, and presided over the construction of Ganhe Yuxian palace and Jianxi Changchun Chengdao palace. In Chongyang, the official undertook the ceremony of burying King Chongyang and presided over Luotian Festival. At the request of Wang Dechen, commander-in-chief of gongchang (now Longxi, Gansu), he went to Gansu to teach the doctrine of Quanzhen Taoism. His works include Hong Zhong Ji.
