General Han Jialin lost his mother when he was young. He first studied in a private school, and then went to a local senior primary school. In 1913, he graduated from high school and went back to work as a farmer. In 1914, following Ma Zhanshan, he joined the third regiment of the second cavalry brigade of the Northeast Army. In 1927, he served as deputy commander of the commander. In 1930, he studied in Shenyang Northeast higher military research class. After the September 18th Incident in 1931, he resolutely refused to act as an accomplice of the Japanese aggressors and risked his life to go to Peiping (now Beijing), where he was appointed as the colonel and deputy commander of the 53rd army. In late October 1931, appointed by Zhang Xueliang, he returned to the northeast to contact the Anti Japanese volunteer army of the Mazhan mountain. He served as the major general of the headquarters of the Anti Japanese volunteer army of Heilongjiang Province and the confidential secretary of the Heilongjiang provincial government. In February 1932, he took over the post of chief of staff of the volunteer army and gave suggestions for Ma Zhanshan to confuse the enemy. In April 1932, he helped Ma Zhanshan escape from the enemy controlled area. On April 12, the whole country announced the continuation of the Anti Japanese war. On May 15, he took part in the Anti Japanese War oath meeting held in Heihe. On May 16, along with the Anti Japanese volunteers, they launched an all-round attack on the Japanese aggressors. On May 23, after defeating the Japanese army in Hulan, they entered Harbin. In July 1932, the horse volunteer army was defeated by the enemy's heavy siege, that is, they retreated into the deep mountains and forests with Ma Zhanshan. On July 28, he met with the Japanese army in dongshiqijingzi, hailun County, and separated from Ma Zhanshan in the scuffle. In the early morning of July 29, the enemy surrounded dozens of people led by him in the South seven humanity forest of luoquandian in the east mountain of hailun county. At that time, we were outnumbered, so we led our troops to fight against each other. He was injured in many places in the fierce battle and died in the end. His head was hung by the enemy at the head of hailun city for several days, and his face was covered with blood.
Main story
In the winter of 1914, bandits were rampant in Lishu County. Ma Zhanshan led his company to Heshan village to suppress the bandits, and set up the company in the Han family compound. Han Jialin's grandfather recommended all the boys of the right age to Ma Zhanshan. Ma Zhanshan took a fancy to Han Jialin and took him as his adopted son. From then on, he joined the army and began to serve as a staff sergeant. He was soon recommended to the Northeast military officer training institute (northeast Military Academy) in Mukden. After graduation, he returned to the army and became the right-hand assistant of General Ma Zhanshan. He was successively promoted to the rank of lieutenant officer, major adjutant and lieutenant commander adjutant. In 1930, he went to the Northeast higher military research class (Northeast Army University) in Fengtian for further study. After the September 18th Incident, the Japanese instructors of the military academy asked the students to cooperate with the Japanese, but Han Jialin resolutely refused. He got rid of the surveillance and ran away. In order to avoid tracing, he led his wife and children to leave Shenyang disguised as refugees and went to Beiping. He found Wan Fulin, chairman of Heilongjiang Province and commander of the 53rd army, who led the army to retreat to Beiping. Wan Fulin left Han Jialin by his side and made him the colonel and deputy commander of the 53rd army. However, at this time, the news of Japanese invasion came from Heilongjiang Province, thousands of miles away from Peiping. At this time, Heilongjiang Province was leaderless. To this end, Zhang Xueliang and WAN Fulin asked the Nanjing government to appoint general Ma Zhanshan, commander of the Heihe garrison, to act as chairman of Heilongjiang Province, and Han Jialin, Ma Zhanshan's old subordinate, to carry secret letters to and from Peiping and Heilongjiang many times to get in touch with Ma Zhanshan and convey military orders. Every time he passed through the blockade lines between the Japanese aggressors and the puppet Manchukuo occupied areas, Han Jialin excellently completed the special mission of "secret envoy". In the face of the Japanese invasion of China, the Chinese nation came to a critical juncture. Han Jialin, who had received military education, immediately decided to stay in Heilongjiang to assist Ma Zhanshan in the Anti Japanese war. He was appointed as a major general of the headquarters of the Anti Japanese volunteer army and served as the confidential secretary of the provincial government. With the help of Han Jialin and others, Ma Zhanshan commanded the Anti Japanese volunteers to inflict heavy losses on the Japanese army. Later, because the Japanese army sent heavy troops to press on step by step, the Anti Japanese forces of Ma Zhanshan were defeated and moved to Xiaoxing'anling. In July 1932, when the troops arrived at the baijianzi pass in the east mountain of Qingcheng county (now Qingan county), they were suddenly surrounded by more than 1000 Japanese ambushes. On the third day of the resistance, more than half of the soldiers died, Ma Zhanshan was injured and his ammunition was exhausted. On the 22nd, in order to disperse the firepower, Ma Zhanshan broke through the encirclement of the Anti Japanese forces in two ways: one was that he led more than 40 people eastward; the other was that Han Jialin led more than 100 people northward. When the Japanese saw that there were many people breaking through the encirclement to the north, they expected that Ma Zhanshan would be among them, so they chased them with heavy troops to the forest of seven or eight roads south of luoquandianzi in Hailun county. After several days of fierce fighting, by the 28th, Han Jialin's staff had been reduced from more than 100 to more than 20, and they were extremely tired. In the process of breaking through the siege, the volunteer officers and soldiers passed by an abandoned house. Seeing that the pursuers were still far away, the hungry and overworked soldiers wanted to have a rest in the house. They were so sleepy that they fell asleep on the spot. In the early morning of July 29, the cunning army surrounded the house. Han Jialin immediately organized a counterattack and vowed not to surrender. In an instant, the Japanese army fired machine guns. More than 20 people, including Han Jialin, died bravely. He was shot several times, and his face was smeared with bullets. Like Ma Zhanshan, he has a beard, a similar figure, wears general's clothes, and carries with him Ma Zhanshan's seal and documents, as well as the precious jade and gold-inlaid cigarette set given to Ma Zhanshan by Puyi. The Japanese army who made great contributions mistakenly thought that he was ma Zhanshan, and cruelly cut off Han Jialin's head and hung it on the gate of hailun city to "show it to the public". The commander of the Kwantung Army, Ben zhuangfan, immediately reported to the emperor of Japan and the relevant departments of the army for rewards. The puppet Manchukuo and Japanese newspapers and radio stations all publicized and reported the top news of "Ma Zhanshan was killed" and published pictures of the battlefield. under the cover of Han Jialin and others, Ma Zhanshan got out of danger. Just when the Japanese army sent the "head of Ma Zhanshan" to Tokyo and held an exhibition to celebrate the "victory", Ma Zhanshan made a statement in Longmen County on the Sino Russian border in Heilongjiang Province and electrified the whole country to reestablish the banner of the Anti Japanese war. At this time, the truth came out that the general who died for his country was Han Jialin.
