Hua Sui

Huasui (1439-1513) is a Chinese character with the name of Wenhui and Huitong. He was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province in Ming Dynasty. He is a calligrapher of Ming Dynasty. Copper movable type printer.

Life of the characters

When he was young, he was involved in classics and history, and then he refined his collation and study. When you meet an old Confucian scholar, you will hold a book for advice. His family has a thousand hectares of land, which is called the rich family in the south of the Yangtze River. His residence is called Huitong library, which is a place for collecting and carving books. It is called huitongjun.

Main contributions

In the third year of Hongzhi (1490), Huasui first printed 50 volumes of memorials of song ministers with copper movable type; in the eighth year of Hongzhi (1495), song Hongmai wrote Rongzhai essays; in the eleventh year of Hongzhi (1498), huitongguanji Jiujing Yunlan, jizuanyuanhai and huitongguanyin Zhengji bugujin Hebi Shi Lei were printed. Huitong library has printed about 15 kinds of books, each of which is printed with "Huitong library movable type copper plate printing" at the bottom of the core. It has been handed down to the present: the fifth year of Hongzhi (1492) edition of Jinxiu Wanhua Valley, the eighth year of Hongzhi (1495) edition of Rongzhai essays, the dialectical compilation of Wenyuan Yinghua, and the eleventh year of Hongzhi (1498) edition of huitongguanji Jiujing Yunlan, jizuanyuanhai, huitongguanyin Zhengji Bugu now Hebi Shi, etc. His nephew Hua Jian, whose character is Yun Gang, is good at identifying antiquities, calligraphy and famous paintings. It also built "Lan Xue Tang" to collect antiques, secret books and carved books. In 1513, it was printed into 71 volumes of Bai's Changqing collection and 60 volumes of Yuan's Changqing collection. In 1515, it was printed into 10 volumes of CAI Zhonglang's collected works, 1 volume of waizhuan and 100 volumes of yiwenlei Ju. In 1516, it was printed into 17 volumes of Chunqiu Fanlu.

Most of the books printed by Hua Jian Lan Xue Tang are printed with illustrations after the catalogue or books, with the brand of "Xi Shan Zhi Xue Tang Hua Jian Yun Gang movable type copperplate printing house" or the seal character of "Lan Xue Tang Hua Jian movable type copperplate printing house". Fahrenheit's book printing trapdoor is quite precise. Every precious book is printed in a few days.
